Forest Framework

Fine Art Mat Included — Ready for Your Own Frame

Forest Framework is an original mixed-media collage. This unique piece features over 11 intricate layers of hand-placed collage strips, stenciling, ink distressing, splatter paint, and others. In my final studio steps, the entire composition was covered in a layer of coffee-dyed tissue paper, distressed, and fully coated with an archival finish to protect the delicate papers against dust and fading. This specific composition embraces a vibrant green dominant group, blending different tones of green with subtle hints of blue. Intricate squiggly design elements and different rich textures beautifully pop through the background grid to create an inviting forest floor depth.

Backed by 30 years of passionate creative experience, this original piece is secured inside an elegant 5x7 white mat, ready to slip straight into your favorite standard frame. It is designed so you can display it in any direction you choose. For inspiration, I have titled, signed and dated the back to indicate my personal suggested orientation. Each keepsake is a labor of love from my studio bench to your home.
